Territory Sales Manager – Northern NSW
 
Our client, a rapidly growing and innovative plant nutrition company, is seeking a driven Territory Sales Manager to join their team in Northern NSW - Cotton focus – flexible location. They lead the market with cutting-edge products and provide growers with the latest agronomic advice, pioneering microbial technology and testing services to innovate agricultural production systems and advance sustainability.
 
This role focuses on achieving sales and profitability goals within the defined territory by facilitating effective business planning and market development with distribution customers. You will be instrumental in promoting a full range of products by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key farmers, resellers, and industry consultants.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales, market share, and contribution in line with company targets.
Develop and maintain a territory plan that prioritizes activities on key market segments and private and corporate customers.
Develop product positioning and implement customer account plans for the designated territory.
Train and develop the distribution network to promote sales of company products into key markets.
Conduct analysis of the business environment, identify opportunities, and communicate this information to the business managers as appropriate.
Establish demonstration sites and conduct field days suitable for promoting products to customers.
 
About You:
You will have a sound understanding of current cotton/broadacre production methods and agronomic practices. Your focus on advanced soil health and plant nutrition/plant disease diagnostics will be key to recommending agronomic programs and products. Ideally have established industry connections in Northern NSW and Southern QLD. 
 
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture with a minimum of 2 years of agricultural industry experience.
Excellent understanding of agronomy, soil science, and modern crop production products and techniques.
Excellent communication and networking skills.
Ability to train others in the use of products and techniques.
Self-motivated and highly results-orientated, but also a team player.
Customer-focused with the ability and interpersonal skills to quickly build credible relationships with customers.
Commitment to biological and sustainable farming practices.
The successful candidate will be confident, highly motivated, and possess sound management and communication skills, comfortable in providing technical information to clients.
