Our client is a global crop protection company with many well known products. They have an exciting role as a Business Development Manager – Corporate Farms.
 
Ideally Based in Brisbane or SE QLD the role will target the corporate farming sector across NSW and QLD with an emphasis on growing business through relationships and securing long term continuity of supply of inputs which has become increasingly important to large scale farming.
This exciting autonomous position offers flexibility to manage a growing number of corporate customers, Key aspects of the role include building relationships, promoting the company,  its product range, across the Corporate Farming sector in Eastern Australia. 
 
You will be joining a team that is supportive and highly experienced in their field. You will work closely with the team to position the business for successful growth.
 
Duties include but not limited to:
  • Develop a strategic sales plan to achieve the sales growth.
  • Develop, grow and manage relationships with key corporate farming accounts and industry influencers that turn into profitable sales.
  • Propose and review with senior management team, business plans for distributor sales.
  • Work with senior management team to prepare annual strategic management plans and budgets.
  • Key Account Management to deliver current needs and to mutually discuss future trends for supply.
  • Implement sales excellence initiatives such as on-time reporting, sales planning, process and mentoring.
  • Attend customer events in conjunction with Regional Sales Managers/ /Marketing Team.
  • Be the face of the business and first point of contact for corporate farms and represent the company within within various Target Groups.
  • Communicate latest industry developments, potential market opportunities, new trends and sales opportunities back to the Senior Management Team.
QUALIFCATIONS:
  • Tertiary qualifications in agriculture or business with 3 years minimum experience in a sales role within agribusiness.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Customer focused with the ability and interpersonal skill to quickly build credible relationships with customers.
