Our client, a leading and reputable rural services provider, is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to lead a key store in Scenic Rim QLD. You will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of a highly professional team that provides rural merchandise, agronomy, and animal production advice to a diverse client base. This is a hands-on role where you will assist in managing staff, overseeing customer service activities, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operations & Leadership: Oversee the daily running of the branch, manage a dedicated team, and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Business Strategy: Develop, implement, and review comprehensive business, marketing, and sales plans to achieve financial targets.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, gaining an intimate understanding of their needs by being actively involved in their enterprises.
  • Sales & Profitability: Drive sales of merchandise, fertiliser, and agronomic services, while maintaining a strong focus on the "bottom line."
What You'll Bring
  • A solid background in agribusiness, with a proven track record in management and rural retail.
  • Excellent people management skills and a history of successful team leadership.
  • Strong business acumen, including experience in developing and executing business strategies.
  • Knowledge of rural merchandise, agronomy, chemicals, and fertiliser.
  • A strong sales history and a balanced focus on both customer service and financial performance.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
  • An understanding of and empathy for the rural community.
  • Passion, drive, and the enthusiasm to motivate and manage a high-performing team.
