Horticultural Sales Agronomist

Our Client is a highly successful Agribusiness seeking a Horticultural Sales Agronomist to work in the MIA area of NSW. The MIA region is a major horticultural area that produces in excess of $AU 700 million in Agricultural production /annum.

They employ 24 staff including 8 agronomists and provide growers with the latest in agricultural technology through a diverse range of crop protection products, seed, fertiliser and specialist plant nutrition services. The horticultural crops fall into 2 main categories below:

Vegetables - Carrots, Onions, Cucurbits, Melons, Broccoli, Cabbage.
Horticulture - Grapes, Vines, Citrus, Stone Fruit, Cherries.

The successful candidate will focus on the development of the company’s business whilst providing the latest in agronomic advice and current technology to maximise the performance of client enterprises. Sound understanding of current horticultural production techniques with a high level of knowledge relating to agronomic and production practices of various horticultural and vegetable crops is essential.

Tertiary qualifications are desirable as is a proven sales history working within the industry. The position offers excellent career opportunities to be involved with a company dedicated to the latest technology and has an attractive salary package based on experience.
