Sales Agronomist required for leading distributor servicing the Adelaide Hills, Southern Vales and Fluerieu with a Viticultural focus.  The region produces some of the nations finest wines among other horticultural crops and the company provides growers with the latest in agricultural technology through a diverse range of agronomic services, crop protection products, fertiliser and specialist plant nutrition services.
 
The successful candidate will focus on sales and the development of the company's Agronomic services which provide clients with the latest in agronomic technology to maximise the performance of client enterprises.
 
Sound understanding of current viticultural production techniques with a high level of knowledge relating to  agronomic and plant production practices as they apply to vineyards is essential. You will be required to provide technical information to clients and have a good working knowledge of crop production.

Good computing skills are required to be able to run the various agronomy reporting, stock control and administration programs that the company uses to manage information given to clients.
 
The successful candidate will have a high level of communication skills with the ability to form long term relations with growers.

Tertiary qualifications in Viticultural / Horticultural Science are desirable (candidates with good on farm experience are also welcome to apply).
