The region supports a range of Agribusiness from dairy, and beef through to cropping and horticulture. The positions primary focus is Animal Health products, Seed products, Fertilizer products & Agricultural Chemicals.
The focus of the role will focus on be the Dairy, Cropping and Livestock industries. Clients include a mix of family owned operations and corporate farms. Work with an experienced team to provide cutting edge service.
The successful candidate will focus on the development of the company's business whilst providing the latest in production advice and current technology to maximise the performance of client enterprises. You will develop sales strategies and programs with targeted new accounts and manage existing accounts to ensure achievement of your sales budget and business unit budget.
You will possess a sound understanding of current agricultural production techniques with a high level of knowledge relating to dairy, beef, animal health, cropping and pasture practices.
The successful candidate will have a high level of leadership, management and excellent communication skills. You will be comfortable in providing technical information to clients and have a good working knowledge of current agricultural, animal health, crop protection, animal nutrition, plant nutrition and pasture products.
Tertiary qualifications in a related field are highly regarded while commercial field experience and a background in a rural business is an advantage.
