Human Resources WHS – MIA Region NSW
Our client is a Leading Agricultural production company with a large corporate farm that employs approximately 50 staff and are continually expanding. We are seeking a Human Resource professional who will report to the HR Manager of the company and be responsible for generalist human resources duties and WHS activities on farm in rural NSW. 
For a large corporate farm you will be responsible for effectively planning, directing and coordinating of HR and WHS activities.
Your main objective is to guarantee the service level for internal clients, in terms of quality, efficiency and results orientated HR and WHS activities for the company. You will be the link between the field and Head Office for HR and WHS activities.
Role description: Responsible for overall HR management and WHS for the farm, with particular attention to the following:
  • General HR
  • Attract, recruit and retain employees
  • Coordinate training schedules for employees
  • Conduct employee performance reviews
  • Regulate and update HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain and update OH&S strategies
  • Industrial Relations
  • Payroll Administration and Processing – Liaising with external payroll provider
  • Monthly Finance Journals
  • Approval of Invoices and Expenses
  • HR Policies and Procedure – Implementation and Compliance
  • Training and development
  • HR OVH Budget
  • All HR administration
  • Audits
  • Labour Hire management – contracts
  • General Services Management – travel, company car, hygiene
  • Security
  • Safety Policy and Procedure – Implementation and Compliance
  • Safety Committee Coordination
  • Workers Compensation
  • Return to Work coordination

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Qualifications in Business Management and/or Human Resources necessary
  • Experience in a similar role and understanding and empathy with rural people.
