Excellent opportunity for a Financial Officer. Our client is a leading independent agribusiness based in the MIA near Naranderra and head office in Sydney
 
They have an opportunity for a Finance Officer to be based onsite on their large corporate farm near Naranderra. The Financial Officer will report to the CFO and work within a number of different areas of the organisation with a particular focus on assisting the different Business Units with their accounting needs. You will also be involved in assisting with major projects or in areas such as Procurement, Risk and Audit.

You will support the Chief Financial Officer in all activities. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process from start to finish.  Track the performance of the Company through the year comparing Actual to Budget/Forecast, explaining the variances. Perform analysis on the various cost of the Company and assist in the set-up new estimation through the Financial Year. Works with internal departments, assisting them to improve their business decisions by preparing and delivering reporting and analysis. 
 
The Financial Controller prepares and reports the monthly trends and assist to report them to the HCO and Corporate reporting at Head Office. The role will also be required to assist the Chief Financial Officer with ad hoc financial analysis, as required.  The role will assist in the preparation of the profit and loss balance sheet and cash flow and will support the Chief Financial Officer in the overall master data management relating to the Company.
Applicants must have recently completed a Commerce, Economics or Business degree with an Accounting major. Applicants are expected to have an excellent academic record.

High level communication skills and the ability to contribute effectively both within a team environment or whilst undertaking a task alone are essential.
Demonstrated capability in the areas of leadership, analytical decision making, delivering commercial results and being customer focused are highly regarded.
