Our client, a well respected and highly successful Agribusiness is seeking a Pasture Agronomist to work in the Central West region of NSW.
The region supports a range of animal production from beef, sheep & equine.
The successful candidate will focus on the development of the company's business whilst providing the latest in agronomic advice and current technology to maximise the yield and quality of clients pastures and forage crops.
You will possess a sound understanding of current pasture agronomy production techniques with a high level of knowledge relating to beef, sheep and equine animal production. You will develop pasture improvement programs based on varieties, plant nutrition and IPM programs matched to clients soil types and rainfall.
The successful candidate will have a high level of leadership, management and excellent communication skills. You will be comfortable in providing technical information to clients and have a good working knowledge of current pasture varieties, fertilisers, Ag Chem and related inputs.
Field experience is an advantage as is tertiary qualifications in Agronomy/Agricultural Science.
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated to reflect proven experience.
